Berenice, originally from Honduras, became a member of St. Sabina Parish in 2008 and currently serves in the areas of Family Life and Hispanic Ministry. She holds a Marketing Degree from a university in Honduras. In her role, Berenice works closely with ministry leaders to support their various needs and partners with the Hispanic committee to plan culturally significant parish events such as Our Lady of Guadalupe, Tres Reyes, Las Posadas, the Annual Fundraiser, and other celebrations that serve the parish and Hispanic community.
She also coordinates annual liturgical training sessions in Spanish after Easter and works with the training team to implement Spanish-language workshops for Eucharistic Ministers, Eucharistic Ministers to the Sick and Homebound, Lectors, Altar Servers, and the Quinceañera Workshop.
